Work Immersion is one of the course requirements for graduation. A Senior High School student has to undergo Work Immersion in an industry that directly relates to the student’s postsecondary goal. Through Work Immersion, the students are exposed to and become familiar with the work-related environment related to their field of specialization to enhance their competence.
The course deals with the fundamental concepts, principles, and practices of ethical standards in the business environment. It combines the theoretical foundations of setting up business enterprises with the conduct of entrepreneurial activities in the context of one’s accountability and social responsibility.
This culminating activity develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills through qualitative and quantitative research.
This is an introductory course that leads to a Computer Systems Servicing National Certificate Level II (NC II). The learner will demonstrate the different core competencies specifically on understanding how to troubleshoot a computer and how to assemble and disassemble a laptop and printer.
The AUTOMOTIVE SERVICING NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to inspect, clean, and repair mechanical or electrical parts, components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies of light and heavy-duty automotive vehicles with diesel or gas engines in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification.
