The learner demonstrates communicative competence through his/her understanding of Afro-Asian Literature and other texts types for a deeper appreciation of Philippine Culture and those of other countires.
It covers five common competencies that a Grade 8 (TLE) student ought to possess, namely: 1) knowledge and maintenance of the use of tools, equipment, and paraphernalia; 2) performance and calculation; 3) interpretation of technical drawings and plans; and 4) the practice of Occupational Health and Safety Procedures (OHSP).
The learner demonstrates understanding of Algebra; Rational Algebraic Expression; Linear equations and Inequalities and System of linear equation and Inequalities as applied using appropriate technology in critical thinking, problem solving, reasoning, communicating, making connections, representations, and decisions in real life.
Learners can describe the factors that affect the motion of an object based on the Laws of Motion. They can differentiate the concept of work as used in science and in layman’s language. They know the factors that affect the transfer of energy, such as temperature difference, and the type (solid, liquid, or gas) of the medium.
